Responsibilities:
In this role you will operate, service and make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment, i.e. chain saws, brush cutters, lawn mowers, steam jenny, jackhammers, motorized snakes, sanders/grinders. You will perform cleaning, landscaping, loading and off-loading, industrial painting, garbage removal, snow removal and assist trade workers. You will perform asbestos abatement and erect scaffolding and complete all other duties as assigned.

You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the Corporation’s Safety and Health Program. You will also be responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.

Job Requirements:
You will have High School graduation or equivalency and capable of performing labour type tasks. You will have completed a certified scaffolding course, Fall Protection course, confined space course, and elevated work platform and aerial bucket training. You shall have a thorough knowledge of all job related safety and operating regulations and must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s licence.
