Kitimat Annual Community Telethon – JGC
On Sunday, October 15th, 2023, JGC Fluor representatives attended the Annual Community Telethon (previously known as the Aluminum City Telethon).
This is the fifth time JFJV has been involved with the Telethon, and we were delighted to be able to present a donation of $25,000 to support Tamitik Status of Women, The Kitimat Humane Society, Northern Adapted Sports Association, and Kitimat Community Development Centre.
JFJV’s construction director, James Ticer, personally attended the telethon and helped answer and make phone calls for donations. The Kitimat Community Foundation raised over $105,000 to support various charities in the area.
Congratulations to the Foundation, and thank you to everyone who volunteered their time or donated. We are proud to work in such a supportive community!
