Health and Welfare Forms. – Electrical Workers Local 993

Members, please reach out to the IBEW 993 office to confirm that you have all your health and welfare forms completed:

• IO beneficiary- for your death benefit
• Registered Retirement Saving Plan- RRSP
• Registered Pension Plan- RPP
• JEIWP- Health and Welfare with GreenShield

Please note that as of June 1, 2025, we switched from plan administrator DA Townley to Convyta and they oversee our health and welfare with Green Shield and our RRSP and Pension with Manulife.  If you feel you haven’t received contributions to these plans from working, please reach out to tammy@ibew993.org with the details and she will help you with whatever you need regarding all benefits. It is my goal to make sure all our members have received and will receive the funds they have worked so hard for.

You are entitled to 3 days of Bereavement leave when a close family member ( Spouse, Father, Father-in-law, Brother, Grandfather, Grandchild, Child (including adopted), Mother, Mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, and stepchild) has passed away.  Please make sure you loved ones also know to reach out to us at the hall if you as a member should pass away.  We will help your loved ones receive the funds they are entitled to.

We also love to hear when you have a new baby.  Please reach out and let us know. We want to share in your happiness (not your sleepless nights).
