Today, we got together with our Vancouver Island Building Trades Unions to beta-test a course roll-out for what we will likely be calling our “Mental Health Stewards” Course.
Life and work are becoming more difficult to navigate, and the number of potholes in people’s path seem to be wider and deeper than when I walked it.
With the leadership of folks like Vicky Waldron, the Executive Director of the Construction Industry Rehabilitation BC, we are in good hands ourselves to help provide the necessary help our collective members need through some of the most difficult times in their lives.
Legacy pieces with the hearts and minds of our members first and foremost.
