Responsibilities:
In this role you will perform troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, service, installation and modifications using bare hand, rubber gloves, hot stick and cold methods on all transmission and distribution lines and associated equipment. You will also conduct troubleshooting, testing, inspecting and preventive maintenance on all lines, buses and disconnects. You will be responsible for operating equipment and tools associated with line maintenance duties.

You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the Corporation’s Safety and Health Program. You will also be responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.

Job Requirements:
You will hold a Journeyperson Certificate as an Operating Line Worker, preferably through an Apprenticeship Program. You will have one (1) year experience in line maintenance following certification or have successfully completed the Corporation’s Line Worker Apprenticeship Program and shall have a thorough knowledge of all trade related safety and operating regulations. You must possess a valid Class 5 drivers licence.
