Attention members,

HeroWork is calling all electricians!!

HeroWork is having a big push to complete the electrical rough in on the barn by this Sunday May 14th. The framing will be done and all of the required material will be on site!

In case you haven’t made it out for a shift yet – the Prospect Lake location of Power To Be is stunning, and it’s only 15 minutes from town!

If you haven’t heard of Power To Be before – they believe everyone belongs in nature, and they work to remove barriers whether they are physical, social, or financial that keep people from enjoying nature.

There is an old gear barn that is being renovated into a covered activity space with a greenhouse on one end and an extended roof on the other end to create a covered entry. There will be a new roof and half of it will be covered with solar panels! The interior will be finished with plywood and will feature a new electrical room & much needed improvements to lighting, and a new fully accessible shower room and change room.

There are a few more runs of lights to pull wire for, and all of the switches, receptacles & heaters need wiring and boxes.

To sign up you can either visit HeroWork’s volunteer portal to choose a shift, or let Kate know what day(s) you are interested in and she’ll get you signed up. If you have any questions or need more information please call or email Kate and she’ll respond quickly.

Thank you for your time,
