Vancouver, B.C. – With just weeks to go, anticipation is building for the inaugural Canadian Collaborative Contracts Conference, hosted by Infrastructure BC at the iconic Fairmont Chateau Whistler on April 28–29, 2026. This milestone national event will bring together public and private sector leaders from across Canada to advance collaboration in infrastructure delivery.
As momentum builds towards opening day, the conference program is set to deliver meaningful dialogue, practical insights, and real-world case studies that reflect the evolving use of collaborative contracting models across the country.
A highlight of the conference will be the Opening Insight Address delivered by Howard Ashcraft, Partner with Hanson Bridgett LLP. Howard is a globally recognized leader in integrated project delivery and alliance contracting, whose address will set the tone for the conference and offer strategic perspectives on collaboration and innovation. The conference will feature a diverse lineup of panelists from across Canada, representing sectors including transportation, health, and energy. Through curated discussions, attendees will gain insights into collaborative projects shaping communities nationwide—highlighting lessons learned, innovative delivery models, and opportunities to deliver better outcomes through partnership. As Medical Director of the Cowichan District Hospital Replacement Project and a member of the Alliance Management Team, Dr. Gallagher brings a unique clinical and leadership perspective to collaborative project delivery, offering reflections on partnership, innovation, and the real-world impact of alliance-based approaches in advancing healthcare infrastructure.
