🚫‼️ BREAKING: The BCFED has declared a boycott of the Alberni Golf Club, which laid off *its entire unionized workforce* of SEIU Local 2 members last month.
Our decision comes after management repeatedly refused to honour the collective agreement they signed this summer. That was bad enough, but attacking their employees’ livelihoods — especially right now — is a new low.
This isn’t a step we take lightly. We reserve boycotts only for the most unacceptable employer behaviour. Please support these workers, and DO NOT PATRONIZE THE ALBERNI GOLF CLUB.
