NL Hydro, Churchill Falls is offering an exciting summer employment opportunity for you to join our team. As part of our Summer Student Program, you will be enabled to follow a path of continuous learning and will be given the freedom to take your education further.
You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the Corporation’s Safety and Health Program. You will also be responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.
This summer student placement opportunity is only open to High School Graduates or High School Equivalency or a current post-secondary student who has successfully completed full-time studies in school year of 2023/2024.
For your application to be considered you will need to attach the following documents:
- A detailed resume highlighting your experience and education;
- A letter/document from your post-secondary institution that confirms you have been accepted into or are returning to full-time post-secondary studies in the fall semester, as follows:
- For Level III students – a letter or acceptance for the upcoming fall semester; and
- For post-secondary students – a copy of course registration for the fall semester)
- For continuing post-secondary students – a copy of your marks from the Fall 2023 & Winter 2024 semesters.
To ensure a fair selection process, eligible students will be selected through a randomized process and will be randomly assigned their placement(s). Students must be able to work across all areas and may be moved to different areas based on operational requirements.
