Public advisory: Construction to resume at D.A. Thomas recreation site in Hudson’s Hope

Construction will resume at D.A. Thomas on April 1, 2025.
Crews will arrive to prepare the site by mobilizing equipment and stockpiling construction materials.
We expect construction of the remainder of the work to conclude by Fall 2025. When complete, the recreation site will feature a grassed area with picnic tables, as well as a new small craft boat launch. A gangway and floating dock will allow car topper-type boats, such as kayaks and canoes, to be launched.
The access trail and work site will be closed to the public while construction is underway.
