HumanaCare – Member & Family Assistance Program – anywhere in North America

To All Members,
IBEW Local Union 2085 Health & Welfare Trust Fund
Effective September 1, 2022 HumanaCare will be our new Member Family Assistance Program (MFAP), replacing Homewood Health. The MFAP is available free of charge to you and your dependents 24 hours a day, seven days a week provided you are “in benefit” with the IBEW Local Union 2085 Health & Welfare Trust Fund.
HumanaCare is a voluntary and confidential, professional mental health counselling service. It can assist you with personal problems that might be interfering with your enjoyment of life or your work. Each caller is assigned their own Nurse for the full lifecycle of their service experience. In the event of any future cases, you simply call that same Nurse, and the cycle begins again.
Each one of us has a vital role to play within the Local membership that is a part of the IBEW Local Union 2085 and we want you to know that you have an excellent source of help in the event that life throws you a curve ball, or you just need a little support.

- Crisis provided in-the-moment
- Urgent cases within 24-72 hours
- Everything else within 5 business days
Please note that professional counselling is available in-person, over the phone, virtual and iCBT.

If you wish to request counselling directly online or access Work-Life resources, you can do so on HumanaCare’s website at www.humanacare.com. Once there, click on “HumanaLife Login” at the top, then click on “signup”, to create a new account, using the access code “ humanacare”, then enter your email and create a username and password.
