On October 1st, we come together to celebrate National Seniors Day, a time to honour and recognise the invaluable contributions of the older generations who helped shape the world we live in today. For us at IBEW Local 993, it’s a day to celebrate our retired members—skilled electricians who dedicated their careers to bringing power to the families of British Columbia. Their hard work, expertise, and commitment to their craft are the reasons we have the modern, reliable electrical infrastructure that powers our homes, schools, and businesses today.
