Hello Members,

Local 230 is offering three courses this month in Victoria: Code of Excellence (COE), COMET, and Mental Health Awareness training. COE and COMET are mandatory courses for IBEW members, however, we do NOT expect you to take time off work or school to attend. If you are working or in school, please consider the Saturday courses. If you are unemployed, consider the Thursday and Friday courses.

NANAIMO – we will be facilitating these courses in Nanaimo in the near future, stay tuned for those dates.

CODE OF EXCELLENCE
Date: Thursday, February 27th
Time: 8:30am – 12:00pm (3.5 hours)
Location: IBEW 230 Training Centre, 859 Viewfield Rd, V9A 4V1

COMET
Date: Thursday, February 27th
Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm (3 hours)
Location: IBEW 230 Training Centre, 859 Viewfield Rd, V9A 4V1

MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
Date: Friday, February 28th
Time: 8:30am – 4:00pm (lunch and refreshments will be provided)
