Responsibilities:
In this role you will perform troubleshooting, testing, maintenance, service, installation and modifications on all damaged vehicles and equipment using the skill and technology required of the trade. You will mix and apply paint to vehicles and equipment and provide repair cost estimates as well as all other duties as assigned.
You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and promoting the Corporation’s Safety and Health Program. You will also be responsible for any environmental aspects of the job and performing work in an environmentally responsible manner.
Job Requirements:
You will have a Journeyperson Certificate as an Autobody Repair Mechanic, preferably through an Apprenticeship Program and one (1) year experience in autobody repair following certification or have successfully completed the Corporation’s Autobody Repair Mechanic Apprenticeship Program. You shall have a thorough knowledge of all trade related safety and operating regulations and you must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s licence which includes Air Brake Endorsement.
